Dolphins are powerful resources that can help us learn more about ourselves and what is within us. The journey together with C-Wide is really about slowing down long enough to notice the beauty and miracles surrounding us.

The dolphins’ interest in people is normally based on curiosity, so diving, twisting and making funny sounds underwater may attract their attention. Just be playful in a non-aggressive way and take your cues from their behaviour, since dolphins communicate with body language, distance, and depth. Honour each other’s limits and your experience will be optimised. And always remember, RESPECT is the key to any interaction.

So if you are swimming and a dolphin approaches you, do not reach out and try to touch him / her. These dolphins are wild and rarely tolerate physical contact from humans. Trying to touch one of them will most of the times just scare it away. Instead, swim as gently and gracefully as you can, while splashing as little as possible. If no dolphins are approaching, enjoy the ocean life within your view.

Please note that oftentimes, the better your swimming / snorkeling ability and comfort are in the water, the higher the quality of your experience will be. So start practicing!

Our dolphin trips go to The Mediterranian Sea, Hawaii, The Azores and to the Bahamas. Book now!
